5 Keys to Tradeshow Booth Graphics

5 Keys to Fantastic Graphics

1.  K.I.S.S. it.

Keep it simple, stupid.  Most people overdesign their booth graphics. Simple tradeshow booth design is fresh, elegant, clear, and straightforward.

2.  Don’t design for trends.

Groovy designs for the sake of groovy designs is not a groovy use of your tradeshow budget.  Too many designers focus on recent trends at the cost of your company's message.  Don't let this aesthetically tempting trap lure in.

3.  Integrate!

2D design is good. Integrating other design elements is better.  Create depth and visiual stimulation by adding effects such as LED dynamic lighting, alternate fabric materials.  Also, sound can enhance the experience of a booth-goer.

4.  Key phrases are key

Keep it short.  Keep it sweet.  In context and excitment of the tradeshow floor who wants to stand before a tradeshow booth and read the first chapter of a novel?  The answer is simple: no one. Working with marketing specialists, graphic designers can focus what phrases, words and short sentences will grab the attention of your target audience.

5.  Message

The overall message of what your company wants to project is as equally as important as the design itself. Not only does the design complete this, but so does the demeanor and attitude of the team working the booth. Don’t let the design be the only spokesperson.
